Greetings Arcanorum Citizens! Important Announcement: June 14-16 LARP Event Cancelled We regret to inform you that our LARP event scheduled for June 14-16 has been cancelled. Several factors have contributed to this decision: Staffing Issues: Unfortunately, we will be missing half of our plot team during the event dates. Site Readiness: The event site is not adequately prepared to host us, with the lack of beds being one of the major concerns. Additional Reasons: There are other logistical issues that we are currently facing. We understand this news may be disappointing. However, we believe this decision is in the best interest of everyone involved. To give our plot team some much-needed rest, we will not be rescheduling this event and I ask that if you need something from the plot team that you first message me. Instead, we are excited to announce an NPC Appreciation Day. This will be a great opportunity for us to show our NPCs that their contributions are highly valued and appreciated. NPCing is more than just volunteering, and we want to recognize that. In addition, I am planning a get-together for practice, hangout, and testing Advance Classes. With many new members joining us, this will be a perfect time to get to know each other better and prepare for future events. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to message me directly. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Greetings Arcanorum Citizens, a message from our new NPC Coordinator! Good day, friends! I’m now in the role of NPC Coordinator. I’m looking for some writers to work on some mini-encounters for our upcoming season. These will be small, one- or two-person encounters designed to take place mostly in the guildhall (tavern), and not to exceed 1 hour in length. If you are looking for ways to get some Service Points in, make NPCing enjoyable, and grow some interesting characters for PCs to interact with, this would a good way to see all that happen. Arcanorum has a writing style guide prepared to walk potential writers through this format and we are excited about getting more people involved in writing for Arcanorum! If you are interested in being a writer, please DM me @Kunzite (Azazel)
Hey Arcanorum Citizens! Coming up, you’ll hear about some changes to Arcanorum Campaign Staff for 2024, and we’ll soon introduce a couple of new staff members. First, many words of thanks to @Doug (Denver Plot) who has decided to step back from Arcanorum Plot in favor of concentrating on exciting events in his real life this year. Doug has fashioned more of our game world than you may be aware, contributing significantly to development of the Edosian Nobility, the Archaphage, the Bulwark, portraying Ludo, heading up the Council and various Elyran plotlines, as well as many others. You’re aware of his performances as Ludo Burke of Elyra on the Town Council, Fen of the Harvest, Julian of the Unbound Archives – with that trademark bookshelf on his back, which introduces all the stunning props that Doug built for the campaign along with contributions of his writing. As a coup de grace, Doug painstakingly created the prop for the Stormgate, introduced at the October 2023 Season Closer, and which you should be sure to check out when you can this year! Additionally, Doug wrote whole novels of BGE responses, making the offstage game world come alive for players and Plot alike. We’re deeply grateful to Doug for all his contributions thus far, wish him well in his personal endeavors this year and always, and we’ll leave out a plate of cookies to welcome him back whenever he chooses! Please join us in thanking Doug for everything he’s done for this game!
I am pleased to announce that we have filled several key positions within our LARP. Please join me in welcoming the following individuals to their respective roles: Brandon has joined us as Character Logistics. Trace will be serving as Materials Logistics. Kunzite has taken up the position of NPC Representative. Congratulations to Brandon, Trace, and Kunzite, and thank you to the community for their support as we continue to move forward.
Thanks to everyone for all your wonderful submissions over the course of season 1, we hope that our next season is even better than the last, and look forward to seeing you out at our pre-season events, and the Opener on April 12th! BGE Winter 2024 Formhttps://forms.gle/RondvVHxe7NVFWsb6

If you’re aiming for the cap, try to balance your time and expenditure so you don’t end up feeling underpaid! If you’re not sure if something will reach the cap, feel free to shoot over a picture of it. If you feel like you’ve got an amazing opportunity to snatch up something really special for NPC camp that’s worth MORE than the cap, reach out with that too. This is a GREAT way to get some SP for breed reps you didn’t end up using, the set of horns that didn’t end up working with your concept, etc. We really don’t want you to go out and buy super expensive pieces, but we would love for our creative community to help us make NPC camp shine! Post-halloween sales will be a great opportunity to pick up some discounted wigs, but please do consider genre; nobody’s game immersion will be improved by a rainbow of mullets.
Hi all! Pointing to a couple things! First and foremost, here’s a reminder of our open staff positions: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1c_LXyEtFsPAlF0NBpd98FLhk-zXLJT9jnubv-diBU2A/edit?usp=sharing Second, we’re opening up submissions for the town’s colors + crest and awarding 5 SP / submission + 15 SP for the winner.
