Players who are under 18 years old are welcome in Arcanorum! To maintain the safety, quality and enjoyment of the game for all players and staff, the following policies apply to players under 18.
For All Attendees
Arcanorum follows the “2×2” Rule: No adult can be alone with a minor for whom they are not responsible. There must either be a minimum of two adults or two minors. If such a situation occurs, it is up to the adult to immediately return to a populated area and get participation from other adults. “Alone” is considered any place out of the view of others. Ignoring this requirement can be grounds for immediate expulsion from the game for the adult.
For Everyone Under 18 (Minors)
All minor players must have a parent/guardian on site. Those Guardians should communicate with Staff about any “designated adults” who are allowed to be Alone with the minor player.
16 & 17 Year-Old Players
Must have a guardian on site and must obey the 2×2 rule. As long as those criteria are met, they can play the game fully.
14 & 15 Year-Old Players
Must have quick access to a guardian or designated adult (be with them, know their exact location), and must obey the 2×2 rule. The player must have at least one actual guardian on site. As long as those criteria are met, they can play the game fully.
12 & 13 Year-Old Players
must stay with a guardian or designated adult, and must obey the 2×2 rule. In addition, they need Staff approval in order to participate in combat. Otherwise they must wear a Green Crescent Moon (or green headband), and avoid combat areas. See the Green Crescent Moon sigil section of the Tempest Rulebook for details.
10 & 11 Year-Old Players
Must stay with a guardian or designated adult, must obey the 2×2 rule, and must wear a Green Crescent Moon (or green headband), and avoid combat areas. See the Green Crescent Moon sigil section of the Tempest Rulebook for details.
Players 9 or younger may not attend Arcanorum games.
